DSP Crosslinker is a thiol-cleavable crosslinking reagent and fixative. DSP Crosslinker covalently links primary amines via a disulfide bond spacer arm in aqueous buffers at pH 6.5 to 8.5, and this crosslinking can be reversed by reducing agents. DSP Crosslinker anchors soluble antigens in tissue sections to prevent their diffusion during immunostaining. DSP Crosslinker protects RNA in fixed tissue sections from degradation, enabling the extraction of fully or partially intact RNA for expression profiling. DSP Crosslinker stabilizes weak or transient protein-protein interactions in cells by crosslinking adjacent primary amines[1][2].
