(+)-Ketoconazole ((+)-Ketoconazol; (+)-R 41400) is the (+)-(2R,4S) enantiomer of Ketoconazole (HY-B0105). Ketoconazole is an imidazole antifungal agent, which is usually administered as a racemate ((±)-Ketoconazole, a mixture of equal amounts of (+) and (-) enantiomers). Compared with the (-)-Ketoconazole enantiomer, (+)-Ketoconazole shows higher plasma concentration, lower clearance rate and smaller volume of distribution[1].
