Polyclonal Rabbit anti-Amylin - PS214

Amylin or islet amyloid polypeptide (IAPP) is produced in the pancreas beta cells and co-released with insulin. The amino acid sequence shows great homology with CGRP. Amylin has been shown to reverse insulin inhibition of hepatic gluconeogenesis and to inhibit muscle uptake of glucose.
